Special GWHS Events

Oct 14 – Career Day

Morning, on the Al Vidal Esplanade. An opportunity for alums to provide insights and answer questions about their chosen profession to GWHS students in a personal way that no counselor could! No electricity, no slidestack. We encourage participants not to use laptops either, as screens are washed out by daylight and it removes the personal aspect. Sept 19 – Kelly's Cove Reunion

Annual gathering of surfers who braved Ocean Beach and their friends. Potluck, raffle, apparel, memorial ceremony, and a special surprise. For more info email Arne Jin An Wong S'68.

The GWHSAA provides reunion coordination guidelines, venue information and best practices. It assists with locating classmates and event promotion and, with a committee’s consent, attends to take photos, meet alumni and encourage greater participation.
